Abstract

Science subjects, especially physics, are considered challenging subjects. Many of the concepts in physics are abstract, and students find it difficult to visualise the concepts through conventional teaching in the classroom. The project introduces PhysicsLab, a gamified virtual learning platform that aims to improve students' understanding of fundamental physics concepts using interactive simulations and educational gaming. The platform is available on laptops, tablets and smartphones and is well suited for classroom, hybrid and remote learning environments. It has great potential to improve motivation, conceptual understanding and modern STEM education through innovative digital learning approaches.
