Abstract

Kajian ini membentangkan keberkesanan Blok Interaktif Traktif (BITRA) dalam meningkatkan litarasi awal dan kemahiran motor halus murid prasekolah dan tahap satu. BITRA merupakan inovasi pendidikan berasaskan blok kayu berwarna yang membantu murid membentuk huruf dengan lebih cepat dan tepat. Kajian kuasi-eksperimen melibatkan tiga responden menggunakan soal selidik skala Likert lima mata, pemerhatian berstruktur, dan temubual separa berstruktur. Dapatan menunjukkan peningkatan min skor daripada 2.13 kepada 4.88 selepas intervensi. BITRA terbukti berkesan meningkatkan kebolehan menterjemah corak, kemahiran motor halus, kebolehan membuat gambaran dan mencorak, serta minat murid dalam pembelajaran huruf asas. Implikasi kajian menunjukkan BITRA berpotensi sebagai alat bantu mengajar yang efektif, kos rendah, dan mesra alam.
